NASHVILLE, Tenn.— Today, Under Armour and Amazon Music announced Amazon Music Presents: Parker McCollum Honoring Veterans Day, Live from Texas, a special concert by multi-platinum country music star and recent ACM Album of the Year winner Parker McCollum. Created together with Under Armour’s UA Freedom platform, the performance will take place on November 10 in Austin, TX in front of a hometown crowd of active military members and veterans, their families and UA Freedom guests.

The intimate performance will welcome a live audience to one of Austin’s most iconic music venues, Austin City Limits (ACL) Live at The Moody Theater, while viewers everywhere can tune in to the show in real time at 8:00 PM CT on Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch.

In celebration of Veterans Day, this concert carries a special meaning for McCollum, a longtime advocate for the military community. As the new face of UA Freedom – Under Armour’s platform and product line that supports military members, veterans, first responders and their families – he is continuing his commitment to honor those who have dedicated their lives in service of this country.

“Playing for the men and women who have served this country is one of the greatest honors I get as an artist,” said McCollum. “So bringing this Veterans Day concert to life with Under Armour, which does so much for veterans and first responders, and getting to do it back home in Texas, is incredibly special. I’m very proud to represent UA Freedom and be a part of giving back to the people who have given so much for all of us.”

Together, McCollum and Under Armour are committed to strengthening the impact of UA Freedom and the organizations it supports, including the Travis Manion Foundation, Team Rubicon, The Warrior Games and Shepherd’s Men. The UA Freedom collection helps support these partners as they continue creating opportunities for veterans and first responders to lead, serve and make an impact long after active duty. This performance is all about celebrating the work of UA Freedom and its partners and championing the people and families they support.

Known for his rigorous touring schedule, McCollum has taken the stage at some of the biggest venues throughout the U.S. and recently made his first trip to the UK alongside Cody Johnson. The Texas-born artist has earned four consecutive #1 hits including “Pretty Heart,” “To Be Loved By You,” “Handle On You,” and “Burn It Down.” In addition, he has earned three ACM Awards – including most recently taking home the award for ‘Album of the Year’ for his critically acclaimed self-titled album, PARKER MCCOLLUM; a CMT Award and has garnered four CMA Award nominations. Led by his swagger-filled “What Kinda Man,” his PARKER MCCOLLUM album is an artistic achievement that shows this multi-Platinum star at his best. Produced by Frank Liddell and Eric Masse, and recorded at Power Station in New York City, the 14-track collection is top to bottom, 100% authentic, Parker McCollum. The album features a varied but unified body of work where he revisits his “Permanent Headphones” which he wrote at 15, digs deep into dark storytelling with “My Blue,” and calling on his friend and fellow Texan, Cody Johnson, for a cover of Danny O’Keefe’s “Good Time Charlie’s Got the Blues.” The album is McCollum’s highest charting debut and cements him as a leading voice carrying Country music traditionalism to a new generation of fans. The Deluxe edition of the album features four additional tracks including “Montgomery County,” “The One Before The One,” “Wind My Friend,” and the highly requested fan-favorite, “Big Ole Fancy House.” His current single, “Killin’ Me,” is impacting Country radio now.
