We had a great conversation with Miguel Gabriel. We talked about his movie “Camera” his life and other things.

Miguel Gabriel was born in sunny California with a diverse heritage of Hungarian, Spanish, and Filipino descent. Miguel’s journey in the performing arts began at the age of five, and since then, he has been unstoppable. Miguel’s impressive resume includes voicing the little boy in “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” playing the lead role of 8-year-old Joselito “Veneno” on HBO Max, and portraying Lucas while also serving as executive producer in the TV miniseries “ME.” He has also made a guest appearance on “How To Get Away with Murder” Season 6 and has starred in numerous plays, including his lead role in “The Lion King.”

Miguel’s talents extend far beyond acting. He is an accomplished dancer and singer, constantly sharpening his skills through voice lessons, hip-hop and salsa dancing, theater performing techniques, on-camera commercial acting classes, and film directing classes. Miguel Gabriel is a storyteller, a dancer, a singer, and a creative force with a bright future ahead.

Miguel is bay area based and outside of work, he loves to build epic Lego creations and is a true world traveler, having already explored various countries across Asia and Europe.

We had a great conversation with artist, songwriter, actor & author Billy Vera on The Chris & Sandy Show. We talked about so many things from family, music, career, passion, sacrifices, he told some really amazing stories to a whole lot more. You have to hear how it all began with him many years ago! WOW what an amazing story!

Billy Vera is a singer, actor and author who just released his latest book, A Dollop of Toothpaste. The book is Billy’s fourth, but first fictional novel. It tells the story of guitarist Johnny Santoro, his 98 year old uncle Nicky, head of the New Orleans Mafia, his best friend Pete Holman and Johnny’s young lover Paulette de Saint Marie from the wealthy suburb of Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The son of radio announcer Bill McCord, Billy began his singing and songwriting career in the 1960s, his most successful record being “At This Moment”, a US #1 hit in 1987. Billy also penned Dolly Parton’s #1 hit, “I Really Got the Feeling.” He continues to perform today with his group, Billy Vera & the Beaters, and won a Grammy in 2013. His mother was also a member of the Ray Charles Singers backing Perry Como on his TV show and hit records.

We had a great conversation with Actor Garfield Wilson on The Chris & Sandy Show. This was a very raw & authentic conversation. We talked about so many things from family, sacrifices, acting, he told so many awesome stories to a whole lot more! This was a very FUN conversation for us. Parts did get heavy too so be sure to watch or listen!

Garfield Wilson was born in Surrey, England; the middle child of three to Jamaican parents.  His family immigrated to Canada when he was six years old. 

Having always felt a pull to all things creative, he organically fell into music and acting in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta.  After two years performing as the lead singer to a funk/soul cover band, Garfield’s first break was portraying Judas in “Jesus Christ Superstar.”  He then ventured to Vancouver, BC, to pursue music and acting further.  After singing in his own band, followed by a Canadian tour singing back-up vocals for Colin James, Garfield began to focus on acting.

Garfield has found success in the spotlight on screens both big and small with the likes of STOLEN BY MY MOTHER: THE KAMIYAH MOBLEY STORY opposite Niecy Nash, and COME TO DADDY,  VENDETTA, with a myriad of television roles including the likes of : TNT’s SNOWPIERCER, ARROW, Once Upon A Time, Bates Motel, The 100, Continuum, iZombie, Zoo, Netflix’s Travelers, Van Helsing, The Good Doctor, The Man in the High Castle, Batwoman, and J.J. Abrams’ Almost Human, amongst others.

Next up for Garfield is Nickelodeon’s THE ASTRONAUTS, (NOV 13^th premiere) a new drama series about a group of kids who are accidentally launched into space, with the adults left behind trying to frantically bring them home safely.  The series marks a pivot for the platform in terms of content in an effort to compete with the edgier streaming platforms.  The Astronauts is created by Daniel Knauf, who also serves as writer and executive producers. The series’ directors are Dean Israelite and Star Trek franchise veteran Jonathan Frakes.
